Acquire Ranked AC Emblems

After defeating an AC in the Arena the 'WIN' message is displayed. Press Select and Start simultaneously while this is on the screen to add the emblem.

First Person View

While playing a game, hold Triangle + Square + Start. The game will pause. Press Start to resume the game with the new camera view. For the Japanese version of the game, hold Triangle + Square + Select.

Fixed Camera View

While playing a game, hold Circle + X + Start. The game will pause. Press Start to resume the game with the camera fixed at the pre-location. For the Japanese version of the game, hold Circle + X + Select.

Pilot Upgrades

If you drop below -50000 credits your pilot is upgraded to help you pass the mission. After the upgrade you restart with 5000 credits. Repeat this process several times and receive the following upgrades!

1st Upgrade: Radar
You are given a 260-click range radar, which also has a missile display on it.

2nd Upgrade: Laser Blade Wave
After a laser blade attack, press the X button to follow up with a wave attack.

3rd Upgrade:
Heat Reduction The heat taken from attacks is reduced by half.

4th Upgrade:
Fire Back Weapons while Standing/Moving You can fire all back unit weapons whether standing or moving.

5th Upgrade: Half Energy Use Your booster and energy-based weapons use half as much energy as before.

8th Upgrade:
Double Cooling Power Your cooling rate will be doubled. Return to default view Platform: Playstation 2

To return to the default view, pause the game, then press Start to resume the game. For the Japanese version of the game, press Select instead of Start.
