PS2 vs Stand alone DVD

Product(s): Playstation 2 and various televisions.
Manufacturer: Sony
Article by: KloWn
Release Date: Already out

Introduction

The first day I bought this system, I was really eager to try out playing DVD (Digital Video Discs) movies on the Playstation 2. I wanted to know if it was good and worth it. Though I had the graphics capabilities in mind rather than the DVD feature, I still wanted to know if it was good.

Then, I noticed that I had my Sony DVD player and thought, hmm, maybe I could try out to see which is better. So I decided to conduct some tests and observe them.

I gathered up my gear to prepare myself for the article. We here have a 36" Sony Trinitron KVXBR digital television, a RCA 28" television and a Mitsubishi 26" television. I included Monster Cables on the Sony television.

As you can see, many will not have the electronic hardware that I have. In this article, I have tried to consider many factors such as television size, quality, etc. But please do not think I have done this review for just one entertainment system. I have tried this on 3 systems. I will give you the most important information and none of the bull.

As I talk about the accessories and electronics in this article, you need to keep in mind of some of these things.

Monster Cables: Cables used to connect various types of connections such as sound and video. These cables are specially designed to increase quality of transmitting information and frequencies in the most efficient and clear way.
