 :: Thermalright SK-6 w/Delta Fan
  Putting It Together:

We all know that one of these days you will have to learn how to put together a heatsink and fan when it is not pre bought and already put together for you. In this case the Thermalright SK-6 is in a nice box for you to put together and then mount on your CPU.

Here is some instructions directly from the Thermalright webpage. All the steps that they are referring to in the steps are referring to the picture below:

Step 1: Place CPU onto the socket and have the lever arm fixed.

Step 2: Place Gelvet® thermal pad on to the center of the heat sink base. (I used Thermal paste instead.)

Step 3: Put heat sink on to the top of the CPU die/socket. (Note the step in the heat sink base. The step side goes over the Socket cam box. The other side goes over the lever arm.

Step 4: Insert the heat sink clip in the direction as shown in figure at right. First attach lever arm side, then use a flat screw driver to clip to the cam box side.

Step 5: Mount the fan included on to the heat sink. First insert the top fan clips into one side of holes of the fan. Then clip to the hooks on the bottom of the heat sink. Then do the same on the other side of the heat sink to complete installation of the fan clip setting.
