Maintaining your PS2

Taking care of your games
You wouldn't believe how many people destroy their games by simply holding them wrong. Finger prints can really hurt a disc unless you clean it right away. I don't understand why people don't take the time to hold a disc properly. Come on! It's an easy concept. Now I'm assuming you want to know how I do it. Well it's simple. Put your index finger in the disc hold and put the rest of your fingers around the edges of the disc. This is so easy. I feel like a rocket scienist!
The correct way ---> Hahaha.

Leaving your disc out in the open or where direct sunlight can hit it is a BIG NO NO. After playing your game, shove it back in your case. Don't leave it out. My so called dumb ass "friend" leaves his games on top of his television without putting it in his. That's why he is always buying the same game three times!

Clean your games with some sort of soft cloth every 10 times you play it. You know. You need to keep it good shape in order for it to last longer. Don't use water or a CD cleaner liquid as that for sure will screw up your game.

In conclusion
I seemed as if I were talking to a three year old. I tried to deliver my point as clear and simple as possible. The little things is what makes the bigger thing easy. I just hope you consider what I said in this article because it can sure keep your Playstation 2 lasting longer. Some points I pointed out may look and sound dumb. But it's true. I just want gamers to realize that you may have an awesome system but their are steps needed to keep it working. It's like having a $800,000 car and not change the oil. It's going to break down. So what if it's expensive. So next time you go on to play, be careful and THINK.
